Similar many other OTT cheesy romance ooks, this volume delivered just that. Cheesy characters with super insta lust moment. OTT plot virtually a boy who swear off dearest and a girl who changes him in a heartbeat. There is no major twist. Depression angst and low drama.

The romance is serves quick and forced. Dont get me wrong. I exercise like this book OK. Its an easy read on Christmas eve waiting for my dinner.

This is the concluding book in the serial and what a groovy ending it had. I was happy to see this team really sore in Game On. I've gotten to know each one and accept loved getting their individual stories.

Cam was a tough character for me. I liked him but he had his moments where I didn't. This is where the author showed some great grapheme growth. He's the player that has never failed at annihilation and we got to see a glimpse into his life and how there is more than to his story and why he is the mode that he is.

I really liked Olivia. She did have some insecurities merely they seemed justified and I never felt similar they truly got in the way of her and Cam. She really put herself out there for him once she realized she was falling in love with him. I loved to see that specially after all that has happened with her.

For the last book, I loved that the writer filled it with some great history of Chicago, IL. I really live about there and I learned some fascinating things I feel like I should have already known. My next trip to Chicago will be with new eyes.

I'g pitiful to see this serial is over but was reassured that the author is not washed with bringing u.s.a. more hockey romances in the future.

Cam is a case in point, he initially appears much more than superficial (and that'southward aside from the fact that it is fabricated articulate fairly chop-chop that he really isn't a relationship type of guy) but equally it turns out he does take many really sweet qualities and he besides possesses an honesty and integrity that you wouldn't initially suspect at commencement glance.

Overall, this was a really pleasant read and a skilful finish to the "Aces Hockey" serial .
Not necessarily my favorite book past this writer but I did similar information technology plenty.
Kelly is an writer that could hands write well any blazon of romance IMO but she certainly does know her Hockey and is definitely one of my favorite authors to read. I am never fearful of thwarting from her and I really similar her fun, fairly depression angst style.

I couldn't stop reading this book. Everything about Cam and Olivia was addictive and romantic and steamy. I seriously could not get plenty of them.

Cam is a guy who doesn't adventure. He won't roll the dice on annihilation he isn't sure he can win. And because of that, he never loses. Olivia, on the other hand, tin can't catch a break. She knows she can't win in a number of aspects of her life then fifty-fifty though she's reluctant to fifty-fifty try, she continues wearing her center on her sleeve, even if things don't typically pan out. Of course, this creates an addictive, complicated dynamic between ii characters who agree to engagement with conditions.

Kelly Jamieson is my go-to for yummy, sexy sports romances packed with steam and a practiced dose of angst. This book was particularly delicious because Cam is freaking Astonishing. I was and then bellyaching with him and his womanizing antics in Big Stick only ooooh man did I just adore him in Game On. The affectionate, thoughtful side beneath that noncommittal outside was but EVERYTHING and I really enjoyed watching him find all the things he never thought he'd desire.

I'm lamentable to meet this series cease but I'g delighted to go back and discover all the Aces romances I skipped. Game On was sweet and sexy, romantic and fun and it was admittedly the perfect cheerio to this unforgettable series.

He doesn't practice beloved. Easy win for him. All he has to practise is get this dazzler to exit with him.
Olivia Lockwood comes from money and runs a not for turn a profit charity, unlike the rest of her siblings who are either in the family business or ridiculously successful in their own right. Then in that location's Olivia, who wanted goose egg to exercise with that. Her backstory unfolds equally the story goes on.
The two date and when Cam starts to take feelings for Olivia, he feels like he needs to tell her nearly the bet, Olivia using that to her advantage makes it into a game. After all she did hook Brick into being a spokesperson and helps her out with her charity. She offers to play along and allow the guys think theres'south nothing betwixt them, when fifty-fifty single sign says otherwise. Their chemistry was outrageous and holy hotness some serious sheet burning. Both have feelings for each other.
These two were interesting characters, Cam was a tough ane to warm upwards to but through the volume you see him alter and as well help Olivia through her problems with her family. Nosotros see Olivia become more self confident and more open. And when Kelly J drops the other shoe in a story, damn you don't see that coming and she does information technology every unmarried time.
I read the whole series and am sad to see this come to an finish only I know she'll have something peachy waiting to be read. Fantastic end to the series and a blazing 5 star read.

This was a bittersweet read for me, because I love the Aces and so much. I actually just discovered them last year, and so binged the rest of the series in 2018. I am really happy I did, because I enjoyed getting to know this team, and also, beingness a part of the the final chapter with them.

It'southward sort of fitting, that Jamieson chose Cam every bit her concluding Aces hero. Being a commitment-phobe, he was the concluding player we expected to see becoming a one-woman-homo. He didn't do commitment. He didn't similar taking chances on things he wasn't sure he could ace, but in one case he opened the door to Olivia, it was game on. And, all it took was a bet.

I wasn't sure about Cam, after having met him in previous books, simply with him the central focus in Game On, I got to see that there was a lot more to Cam than met the eye. I saw his sweet and considerate side, his dedication to his family, and his big heart. At that place were all these little things he did, that made me, likewise as Olivia, love him more and more.

Olivia was great too. Growing upwards the daughter of a very powerful family, she had been used and misled one too many times, and was now hesitant to trust her heart. That coupled with some self-confidence issues created by her past and the way her family treated her, made watching the evolution of her relationship with Cam very satisfying.

The combination of Olivia and Cam was fabled. There was the allure and heat, that I ever like to see crackling between my hero and heroine, merely I also loved how fun Jamieson fabricated their interactions. Their starting time few dates bordered on rom-com, and I absolutely loved information technology! Just, I besides adored seeing them get beneath the surface and betrayal so much to each other.

It was non just the romance, which won my heart in the book, information technology was the wonderful farewell Jamieson gave to this grouping of guys. It was a fond farewell to all the couples nosotros saw get their HEAs. Everyone was in attendance, and the finish was large and very, very satisfying.

I will miss the Aces, but look forward to what Jamieson has in store for u.s.a. next.

Overall: Another fabulous Aces book, that was about taking chances, and the rewards you tin can gain when you open yourself and your heart.

Game On was the eighth and terminal volume in the Aces Hockey series by Kelly Jamieson. I've loved the series with all previous books getting 4 or five stars.

Cam "Brick" Brickley was a professional NHL role player for the Chicago Aces Hockey team. He was
averse to relationships and didn't believe in love. His teammates bet him that he couldn't appointment the same person for two months without falling in love. To him it was an easy bet as long equally he could actually breadbasket dating someone for ii months.

Olivia Lockwood was the Manager of a non-profit that assisted children with staying agile. She had horrible experiences with men where all of her choices to appointment merely wanted her money or the opportunity that she could give them. She was ridiculously flush and her family withal ran the wildly successful Lockwood Industries. She wasn't looking for a relationship but she was willing to agree to a few dates with Cam Brickley while she was trying to go him to be the face of her not-profit.

Game On was fun with humorous moments, especially as they got to know each other and had unusual circumstances for their first few dates. Although a common theme (and non my favorite theme), Jamieson added her own twists throughout to make it dissimilar from the norm. Additionally, Jamieson provided boosted depth and dimension through accurate hockey strategies and history every bit well as a detailed historical and architectural tour of Chicago.

Overall, as expected Jamieson wrote and developed the plot and characters well and she remained as one of my favorite authors. It wasn't my favorite volume in the series and I didn't connect also to Olivia; nevertheless, Jamieson provided a great ending to the serial and wrapped it up well. I can't wait to meet where she'll take us adjacent.

Game On brings the serial to a conclusion and I am saddened. This has been a swell series and I accept enjoyed all the books.

Cam is a confirmed bachelor and when his teammates bet him he can't date the same woman for 2 months without falling in love, he has no problems accepting the bet; after all he is Cam Brickley.

However the woman in question Olivia, is a woman of money used to men only wanting her for what she can requite him. This fourth dimension she is determined to get something she wants out of a relationship too; Cam would exist the perfect spokesman for her Children's charity.

The chemistry between Cam and Olivia simply smoulders. Will they both realise the potential their relationship has or run before it has a risk?

I really liked Cam and Olivia, they were great characters and I enjoyed their story line. Cam was hard to like initially but he really grew on me. Olivia has been injure in the past and her fears compound her insecurities. However when they both realise that their feelings have deepened, Cam tells her about the bet.

Game On was a fitting end to a bang-up serial.

Cam and Olivia's relationship was also lukewarm for my liking and I was expecting more from Kelly Jamieson. The spark was there, but the wow factor wasn't there. Something about them didn't work for me and I think information technology might be Cam'south immature-ish beliefs. I needed him to human up and non run like his life was depending on it. The running part was something that felt to me like it was just added for the drama and nix else.

The book overall was good though. The heroine generally and somewhat less the hero, were likable, we saw the heroes from the previous books, I got some things I wanted in this story and the footstep was but as it should have been.

Cam "Brick" Brickley - I didn't know if I was going to beloved his story. He wasn't my favorite of the group and later on reading Nicky and Jodie'south story - he was kinda a douchcannoe and just seemed kinda harsh.

Well Brick became my favorite and I'm so sad to meet this series finish, all the same it ended with a bang and then I was so happy with that.

The boys are known to place bets and with Brick seemly the last man to fall downwardly the rabbit pigsty of dearest the guys bet him #i they tin can't go a appointment with the beautiful blonde at the bar and #2 that he can't appointment her for two months and non fall in love. So when Cam Brickley approaches her at the bar, her commencement thought is to turn the guy down. Sure he's cute and all only guys only approach her for one thing... her family'south coin. And so she gets an idea, maybe she can talk Cam into beingness a spokesperson for her Non-Profit. So what will one engagement hurt.

What ensues afterwards is both funny and heartwarming and breathtaking. These 2 were made for each other. We get to come across a side of Cam that nosotros accept never seen before and Olivia is just the best. Loved!! Cam and Olivia'south story was a great way to wrap up this series. While I hate seeing the Aces series stop I'1000 sure Ms. Jamieson has more than great hockey reads in shop for us.

Cam and his team mates will pretty much bet on anything so when they bet him he tin can't date the same woman for ii months without falling in love he's certain he has this 1 in the bag. It doesn't take him long after meeting Olivia to realize he might be in trouble. Could she be that one that has him going all in?

I really liked Olivia, yeah she was a gorgeous looking girl who looked the role of a Wagg merely at that place was a lot more to her, she was goofy and clumsy, kind-hearted, worked for a clemency organization that she started, Olivia's grapheme is realistic.
At that place every bit no way Cam was not going to fall for this impuissant chick, it was written in the stars and I loved the journeying to Cam's autumn.

Game On is sizzling hot at times, has humour, peachy characters and is a must-read for hockey, sports-star romance fans.

Game On is the last book In the series but doesn't contain any spoilers regarding previous books.

My first book past Kelly Jamieson and I would definitely read more.

Of course, we know Jamieson volition lead him to a place where he realises he is mistaken ... and what a fun journey information technology is. Olivia, as we acquire, may accept had plenty of money growing upwardly, but she was treated poorly by her family unit, always put downward. She finds it hard to believe that Cam is interested in her at all, and so when he admits to the bet, she just knows that life is repeating itself again. Thankfully, both of them grow upward, take dorsum some command and get the HEA that we all know they deserve.

I have this series on my reread list, every bit every book was good - simply I am also excited to come across what treats Jamieson has for us next.

I love that it's original in that the heroine doesn't have your typical response to whole bet situation. She'due south really really cool near it and that's a first for me in this type of storyline - I actually appreciated that. I also love how the author meshes merely the right amount of hockey, romance and banter into this story to make it fast paced and difficult to put downward. I loved that Cam's dad gave him a talking to that allowed Cam's optics to be opened and allowed him the time to fix what he messed upwardly.
